Shuya Kekke is President of Cambridge Quantum Computing Japan.
Previously, Shuya was managing director at Goldman Sachs in Tokyo and Hong Kong, responsible for equity electronic trading for Asia Pacific. He joined the firm in 1993 in equity portfolio trading, and was later involved in various technology-based initiatives, including algorithmic trading and electronic derivatives trading. He was also part of the Principal Strategic Investment group in Asia, an internal private equity team specializing in financial services and trading. In 2013, Shuya joined J.P. Morgan Securities (Asia Pacific) in Hong Kong, where he served as managing director & head of electronic client solutions and portfolio trading for Asia Pacific. In 2017, he joined Pelagos Inc., a consultancy focused on the financial sector.
Shuya graduated from Stanford University with BA (Honors) and MA in 1993. He is a CFA™ charterholder, and holds the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement™ designation.
