Cambridge Quantum Computing Appoints Duncan Jones as Head of Quantum Cybersecurity
CAMBRIDGE, UNITED KINGDOM, December 14, 2020 – Cambridge Quantum Computing (CQC) today announced the appointment of Duncan Jones as head of the company’s quantum cybersecurity business. Duncan has extensive commercial experience working for technology companies such as Thales and Arm.
As Head of Quantum Cybersecurity, Duncan, based in Cambridge (U.K.), will oversee the development and commercialisation activities of CQC’s quantum software and technologies in cybersecurity, science, engineering, finance and gaming.
“Duncan brings a great depth of leadership experience including an impressive track record of developing and rapidly scaling cybersecurity solutions, and servicing enterprise customers at the highest standards,” said CEO Ilyas Khan. “He is a tremendous addition to our team and will help further strengthen our leadership position in quantum cybersecurity.”

Mr. Jones is a computer science graduate from the University of Cambridge.
