JUNIOR / TRAINEE TRADE SUPPORT ANALYST – VICTORIA, LONDON

This role will be 37.5 hours per week and in the near future will required to support Japanese Trading Hours on a rota basis (currently 12 – 6 am GMT), with some homeworking supported after training.

Cambridge Quantum Computing is looking to hire a Junior/Trainee Trade Support Analyst to work with the existing Trading Team supporting various Trade Books and providing monitoring and other assistance when required.

This is an entry level opening and is ideal for someone looking for their first role and an opportunity to build a career within the Back/Middle Office of a Trading House.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring live trading
  • Reconciling trade outputs to the in-house trade system
  • Reporting of trading positions
  • General front office administration

Key Skills

  • Minimum of A-Level or equivalent education, preferably with some proficiency in maths
  • Previous work experience within a finance or related area.
  • Proficiency in Python is essential
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Solid IT Skills, particularly sold excel skills
  • Self-Starter
  • Ability to work under pressure and support a Trade team.
  • Commitment and flexibility to the role and the Trade Desk.
  • Knowledge and a proven interest in trading through study or work experience would be an advantage
